Defeat the Gym Leader - Win real prizes!
The Lured Up Podcast Gym Leader Challenge is a unique spin on our monthly Patron exclusive GO Battle Tournament. Each month, a custom meta will be developed by the current Gym Leader for Trainers to battle through in a Swiss Tournament. Win the Tournament for an opportunity to battle the current Gym Leader for fame and glory.
Defeat the Gym Leader to earn an enamel Gym Badge, an exclusive Role in the Pokémon Professor Network Discord, and the monthly prize! The current Gym Leader will then create their own meta (as basic or as complex as they'd like) for the next round of the Tournament! Trainers will then battle each other for a chance to battle the Gym Leader and take their title! Hold the Gym Leader title for 3 consecutive months and retire from your Gym as a member of the Elite Four! (More details coming soon)

Our inaugural Gym Leader Challenge will take place at the Garden State Gym! Developed by honorary Gym Leader Ken, the meta highlights Grass-Type Pokémon to celebrate New Jersey, the Garden State! This Swiss Bracket Tournament will follow the Great League format with a max CP of 1,500. Dracoviz registration link is in the Pokémon Professor Network Discord! Join on Patreon!
Each show 6, pick 3 team must include:
- 2 Single Type Grass Pokémon
- 3 Dual-Type Grass Pokémon
- 1 Additional Pokémon of any Typing
The winner of the Dracoviz Tournament will then challenge Ken in a Single Battle! Defeat Ken and receive an exclusive Gym Leader Discord Role, an enamel Gym Badge, and an Anker 10,000 mAh Power Bank!
